The consortium of Space Alliance Partners is the driving force behind the success of the Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program (SATOP).  Essentially, they are the fuel that powers the program. More than 50 different aerospace companies, universities, and NASA centers have committed in excess of 30,000 hours to assisting small businesses via SATOP. The total value of this collective commitment exceeds more than $3,000,000.

These Alliance Partners have solved challenges for hundreds of different small businesses ranging from improving how fish are transported within plastic bags to helping out with the development of super-thin battery.

Each year the Alliance Partners are honored in Washington DC by members of Congress for the outstanding assistance they have provided which has helped small businesses succeed. During the last two years, more than 219 jobs have been created or retained, and more than $134 million has been infused into the US economy thanks to the work of SATOP and its Alliance Partners.
